The Brazilian ex-UFC champion declared his desire to fight with Emelianenko

Brazilian UFC fighter Fabricio Werdum said that he would like to hold a new fight with Russian Fedor Emelianenko.

Earlier, Werdum defeated Swede Alexander Gustafsson, who made his heavyweight debut at UFC Fight Island 3.

“Yes, I want to fight Fedor. I respect him very much, and I want to give him a chance to have another fight with me. Ten years later, everyone wants to see this match. I don’t know where, but I want to have another fight with Fedor. For me, he is still the best in the world,” Werdum was quoted as saying by MMAFightingonSBN.

Emelianenko defeated Werdum in a fight in 2010 at the Strikeforce tournament in the United States.
