The authorities of 21 US states have filed a lawsuit against the administration of President Joe Biden; they demand to cancel the decision to stop the construction of the Keystone XL oil pipeline from Canada to the United States. According to its electronic database, the lawsuit was filed in the Federal District Court for the Southern District of Texas.

Biden has signed at least 15 executive orders since taking office in January. Among them was an order to cancel the construction of the Keystone XL oil pipeline. The plaintiffs insist that the new American leader exceeded his authority when he made this decision. They demand to recognize the relevant decree as unconstitutional and cancel it.
