The area of wildfires in the western United States exceeded 500 thousand hectares

The most difficult situation is observed in Montana.

More than 500 thousand hectares of land are covered by wildfires in the western United States. This was announced by the National Interagency Fire Center, based in Idaho.

According to the data provided on its website, 83 large wildfires were recorded in 13 western American states. The total area of gorenje is currently 523.5 thousand hectares. Since the beginning of the year, as a result of wildfires of varying degrees in the United States, more than 1 million hectares of land have been burned.

The most difficult situation is observed in the state of Montana, where 20 large fires were recorded. There are 18 major fires in Idaho, 8 in Oregon, and 7 each in California and Washington. As noted, in turn, the Reuters news agency, smoke from fires in the western United States led to deterioration in air quality in most of the country, reaching the states on the East Coast.
