The American frigate for the first time in 13 years entered the port of Odessa

The American Coast Guard frigate USCGC Hamilton entered the port of Odesa.

“At 08:30, the ship docked at the 15th berth of the Seaport,” the report says.

The USS Hamilton entered the Black Sea on April 27. The next day, he conducted exercises with a Turkish frigate, and then with Georgian Island-class boats. From 4 to 6 May, the ship was in the port of Batumi.

After that, the ship headed for the coast of Ukraine, where on May 8 it was met by the flagship of the Ukrainian marine guard corvette BG50 “Grigory Kuropyatnikov.” They worked out the coherence of actions in the international tactical group. The exercise was observed by two Russian border patrol ships. The Russian Foreign Ministry noted that the United States and other NATO countries continue provocative activities in the Black Sea and seek to increase their presence near Russia’s borders.
