The American destroyer headed to the Black Sea for the Sea Breeze exercise

The USS Ross missile destroyer is heading to the Black Sea, where it will take part in the annual Sea Breeze exercises, which will be joined by more than 30 countries, the press service of the American Embassy in Kyiv reported on Saturday.

“The American missile destroyer USS Ross is heading to the Black Sea to participate in the annual Sea Breeze exercises with more than 30 countries from around the world,” the embassy said on Twitter.

The Sixth Fleet of the US Navy has officially announced its participation in the annual Sea Breeze-2021 exercises together with the Ukrainian Navy, which will involve 5,000 military personnel and 32 ships from 32 countries. The exercises will be held from June 28 to July 10 in the Black Sea.
