According to the survey results, 64% of Americans expressed support for this thesis, 24% of respondents believe that the tragic events of 20 years ago only temporarily affected their everyday life. Finally, 9% of respondents did not notice any significant changes in their lives.
According to the study, the opinions of Americans are divided as to whether September 11 should be declared a national day off: 47% of respondents answered “yes,” 46% – “no.”
The survey was conducted on August 7-10 by phone; 1002 people took part in it. The error of the results of the study is about 3%.
