Tesla will launch the world’s fastest production car on June 3

We are talking about the car Model S Plaid.

Electric carmaker Tesla will launch Model S Plaid cars on June 3. As the head of the concern, Elon Musk said on Thursday in his microblog on Twitter, the car would be the fastest production in the world.

“The production of the Tesla Model S Plaid will begin on June 3 at our plant in California. The fastest mass-produced car with a time of acceleration to 60 miles per hour (about 97 km per hour) in less than two seconds,” the publication says.

The Model S Plaid electric sedan is an updated version of the Model S car. At the same time, in the first quarter of this year, not a single car of this model was produced. In the third quarter of 2020, the company delivered 15,275 Model S to customers. Entrepreneur Elon Musk founded Tesla in 2003. The company’s headquarters are located in the American city of Palo Alto (California). At first, the company specialized exclusively in the production of electric vehicles, but later it also began to create solar panels and other energy storage systems.
