LONDON – Tens of thousands of people take part in the March against Brexit, which takes place on Saturday in the center of the British capital.
Participants gathered near the Marble Arch at Hyde Park, after which the crowd went down Park lane in the direction of the British Parliament.
The square in front of the Palace of Westminster, where lawmakers discuss the “Brexit” deal with the European Union on Saturday, will be the final destination of the demonstrators. At the walls of Parliament, activists intend to make speeches against the upcoming “divorce” of the Kingdom with the European Union.
The organizer of the protests is the organization People’s Vote, which aims to achieve a second referendum on the country’s membership in the EU. It has previously announced its intention to bring more than a million people to the street on October 19, as it did in March this year. So far, apparently, to this mark is still far away, however, on the hand of the organizers of the good weather-in London is not the autumn warm, dry and bright sun.
