Huawei Central employees spotted Huawei Mate 40 smartphone in the database of the Chinese agency TENAA. The certification revealed the main specifications of the novelty.
So, according to the leak, the Mate 40 will be equipped with a 6.5-inch display. The type of matrix is not indicated in the documents, but, with a high degree of probability, it will be an AMOLED panel. The smartphone will also receive a 4000 mAh battery, a 5G modem, and a glass case with the following dimensions – 167.8 × 77.1 × 9.95 mm. For comparison, the current model Huawei Mate 30 is slightly smaller (160.8 × 76.1 × 8.4 mm).
There is no other information about the smartphone in TENAA yet, but thanks to leaks it is known that Huawei Mate 40 will still be able to boast of a 5-nanometer Kirin 9000 processor. The smartphone should also be equipped with a triple main camera, a dual front camera, and a sub-screen fingerprint scanner. The flagship will work out of the box on the new EMUI 11 shell with Android 11.
