Syria’s air defense systems repelled a drone attack in Hama province

Syria’s air defense systems repelled a RAID by uncrewed aerial vehicles near the city of Salamiyah in Hama province, the Syrian state TV channel al-Akhbar reported.

“The sounds of explosions heard in the city of Salamia are the result of air defense against drones in the city area,” Free News channel reports.

The origin of UAVs and their starting point in the story is not specified.

Recall, July 12, the air defense system of Syria repelled the attack drones near airbases Hamim. Also, on June 22, the air defense system of the Russian airbase Hamim shot down two drones of the terrorists.

According to the defense Ministry, in 2019 alone, the Russian military shot down 53 UAVs and 27 multiple-launch rocket systems that attacked Russian targets in Syria.
