Syrian Kurds urged to close the country’s airspace to the Turkish air force

The invasion of Turkey can lead to the revival of “IS.”

The Kurdish-led Syrian democratic forces have said the Turkish invasion of Northern Syria serves to revive the Islamic state.

The SDF called on all allied States to assist the Kurds in the fight against the jihadists and to close the country’s airspace to Turkish military aircraft.

In a televised address, one of the leaders of the SDF, Redur Selil, said that the movement continues to cooperate in the fight against ISIS with the US-led coalition, even though the SDF must further repel Turkish attacks in the North of the country.
