Suspect in New York shooting arrested

Police have announced the arrest of a suspect in a shooting at a store in New York, resulting from which one person was killed, and two were injured.

“We can confirm that the suspect is in custody,” police said on Twitter.

Earlier on Tuesday, an unknown person opened fire in the office space of a supermarket on the outskirts of New York. According to the police, one person was killed on the spot, two more were injured, and the attacker fled. Police said they were looking for 30-year-old Gabriel Wilson.

The media reported that the shooter could be a former employee of the store.
