Supreme Court justice Ginsburg released from the hospital

Earlier this week, she had a procedure to clear a bile duct stent.

Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg has been released from the hospital and is doing well, a spokeswoman for the Supreme Court said.

“Judge Ginsburg was released from the hospital. She is at home and feels well,” court spokeswoman Kathy Arberg said.

87-year-old Ginsburg was hospitalized with a suspected infection after her temperature rose, and chills began. On Tuesday, she underwent a procedure to “clean the bile duct stent installed in August last year,” Arberg said.

The leader of the liberal wing of the Supreme Court, Ginsburg, had several health problems after her appointment by President Bill Clinton in 1993. In particular, she was diagnosed with cancer four times.
