Starlink will cover the entire Earth with satellite internet until September 2021

Starlink will provide worldwide internet coverage in September 2021.

SpaceX’s Starlink division is scheduled to begin negotiations with countries on the provision of global Internet services after all satellites enter operational orbit: the company has deployed about 1,800 satellites.

In total, it is planned to launch 12 thousand satellites worth about $10 billion. The company is currently beta testing Starlink in 11 countries.

But then we need to work with regulators in each country and get approval for the provision of telecommunications services.

Gwynn Shotwell, President of SpaceX

In May, SpaceX founder Elon Musk said Starlink had received over 500,000 pre-orders for its internet services.

The Starlink hardware kit will cost users $499. Monthly subscription – $99.
