Sonos and IKEA are preparing two new smart speakers for release

IKEA, along with Sonos, showed Symfonisk smart speakers in 2019. It looks like the project was successful and the manufacturers decided to continue cooperation.

As the journalists of The Verge found out, the companies are preparing two new models for the release. They have already been certified by the US agency FCC. The first column is integrated into a table lamp. It will be an updated version of the Symfonisk WiFi Table Lamp Speaker and will retail for about $180. The second, in turn, will take the form of an art object. Presumably, we are talking about a painting. How much they will ask for it is unknown.

Sonos has already officially confirmed the announcement of new products but has not yet announced the exact release date.
