Skype now supports Together Mode for two people

Microsoft Teams has been a strategic app for the company since the start of the pandemic. Social isolation has prompted many companies to conduct daily online communication. The company is quite aggressive in trying to attract regular users to Microsoft Teams.

According to the latest data, the video calling application is already actively used by more than 250 million people. Microsoft Teams will remain a priority for the company, which is also investing in Skype development.

Skype remains in the shadow of Microsoft Teams, but is still used by a large number of users. The new Skype update is designed to help more people take advantage of the software.

Together Mode is a useful mode for video conferencing between two people, which creates a common digital background for them. The company has expanded the permissions inherent in Microsoft Teams to enable the use of Together Mode in Skype for just two people.

Thus, the feeling of being in the same room at the same time is recreated. This feature will add another important element to the set of useful communication options offered by Skype.

To start a call in a new mode, you must click the Switch View button in the upper right corner and select Together Mode from the list. All you have to do is choose a background image and start a call.
