Singer Halsey became a mother for the first time

26-year-old American singer Halsey became a mother for the first time. Halsey announced this joyful event a few hours ago on her Instagram, publishing the first photos with her newborn son and her lover – 37-year-old Turkish director, screenwriter and actor Alev Aydin.

The baby was born in the middle of last week, but Halsey decided to tell about it only now. The parents gave their newborn son a Turkish name, which translates as “rare”.

“Thanks for the rarest and most euphoric birth. Created with love. Ender Ridley Aydin. 07/14/2021”, Halsey signed the pictures taken a few hours after the birth of her son.

Halsey told fans about her pregnancy just over six months ago. Then she declassified her relationship with Alev. The singer clarified that her pregnancy was planned, and admitted that she “tried very hard for this child.”

Two years ago, Halsey openly admitted that she plans to freeze her eggs in order to become a mother in the future. Then the star spoke about the fight against endometriosis – because of this disease, she had several miscarriages.

The upcoming motherhood had a strong impact on the singer’s work. Her fourth album, set for a late August release, will focus on the “joys and horrors of pregnancy and childbirth.” For the cover of this album, Halsey starred with half-naked breasts and with a baby in her arms. The singer explained that in this way she wants to express her admiration for the woman’s body during pregnancy and after childbirth.

“We have a long way to go to eradicate the social stigma associated with the bodies of new moms and breastfeeding. I hope this album will be a big step forward in that direction,” says Halsey.

Recall that from 2015 to 2016 Halsey met with the Norwegian producer Lido. In 2015, right on the eve of the concert as part of her tour, the singer had a miscarriage, but she still took the stage. In 2017, Halsey dated rapper G-Eazy. Their relationship ended in the summer of 2018.
