Shooting in a shopping center Alabama: teenagers seriously injured, shooter killed (video)

Black Friday was really black for Alabama: in one of the shopping centers the shooting was burned. More precisely, it happened about 10 PM on Thursday, November 22, but the shopping center has already started to gather people to be the first to get to the shops with discounts.

The incident occurred in the Riverchase Galleria in Hoover (a suburb of Birmingham) – the largest shopping center in Alabama, where the holidays usually attracts thousands of buyers from all over the state.

21-year-old shooter (his name is not yet reported) managed to seriously injure 18-year-old boy and 12-year-old girl before he was shot by police officers who came running to the sounds of shots.

Lexi Joyner, who came to the Riverchase Galleria co his mother, described what happened was” chaos”.
“I heard six or seven shots. My mother and I were just in the clothing store and together with other customers and staff hid in the closets. It was awful. I, of course, thought that black Friday would be crazy, but not so much,” said the schoolgirl.

According to police, the shopping center had enough law enforcement officers: some of them rushed to the scene, others — blocked the perimeter and organized the evacuation of buyers.
“One of our officers shot an attacker who managed to injure two teenagers,” said police captain Hoover Gregg Rector, ” according to – We don’t know exactly what happened yet, there’s an investigation going on. It is known that the 18-year-old victim – in a serious condition, 12-year-old girl when she was taken to hospital, was conscious. This until the entire information on this moment.
