Police did not disclose these cases but noted that the boy was charged with third-degree rape on March 23.
The case will be heard by the family court. The investigation is ongoing.
Lawyer Anthony Marconi, who specializes in protecting youth in criminal cases, called the charges absurd since a child of this age could not understand what he was doing.
“They will need to prove that he actually did it physically. It seems almost impossible to me,” the lawyer explained.
