Serena Williams will help donate over 4 million masks to American schools

Former WTA#1, American tennis player Serena Williams, took part in the action, which will donate 4.25 million protective masks to schools in the United States.

According to Williams’ Instagram page, she is partnering with the National School Boards Association, a clothing manufacturer and publisher to donate personal protective equipment to underserved schools. They will also provide training materials, and in addition to each mask purchased by the school, another will be donated.

“I am grateful for the opportunity to tell our schools about this resource and to be able to help students,” said the 38-year-old athlete.
