Seen without a mask in a barbershop, Pelosi said that she was “set up”

Speaker of the US House of Representatives Nancy Pelosi said that she was “set up,” caught on video in a barbershop closed for quarantine due to coronavirus.

Earlier, Fox News showed a video from a surveillance camera showing Pelosi without a mask entering a beauty salon in San Francisco, officially closed for quarantine. The owner of the salon accused Pelosi of double standards.

Pelosi told reporters that she visited the salon many times over the years.

“I take responsibility for trusting the words of the salon in my area, which I visited many times. When they said they could take people in one at a time and that we could reserve time, I believed it,” Pelosi said.

“It turned out that I was set up. So I take responsibility for being set up. The salon should apologize to me for setting me up, ” the speaker said.
