See the unusual structure of three galaxies

The Hubble Space Telescope website has published an image of three galaxies interacting with each other.

The structure is called Arp 195.

Arp 195 is a triplet of interacting galaxies in the constellation Lynx. The trio of galaxies is located about 747 million light-years from the Milky Way.

The structure is included in the atlas of peculiar galaxies, which cannot be attributed to a specific class in the Hubble sequence since it has pronounced individual characteristics.

It was the unusual structure formed by the three galaxies that allowed the Arp 195 system to be included in the catalog. By the way, a total of 338 objects are included in the Atlas of Peculiar Galaxies.
