Scarlett Johansson’s husband spoke about the wedding during pandemic

Scarlett Johansson married Saturday Night Live host Colin Jost last fall. They became the rare couple who did not cancel their wedding despite the pandemic. However, the lovers staged a rather modest celebration: the ceremony took place in the backyard of Scarlett’s house in the presence of those closest to them.

Colin has recently been talking about the details of the wedding. Recently on the Ellen DeGeneres show, he admitted that he and Scarlett were fortunate to arrange a wedding without consequences during the pandemic.

“We did everything quietly. We were lucky to organize a holiday, bring our families together and make it all safe. It feels like we got away with everything, ” Jost said.

Colin also said that his colleague on Saturday Night Live, Michael Che, promised to give the couple a wedding gift soon, and this worries Zhost and Johansson. “Recently Michael came up to me and said: I have something for you. Wedding gift. I’ll bring it sometime. I wonder what he will bring, but Scarlett and I are a little worried. I suspect it will be something that takes up a lot of space, ” Ellen Colin intrigued.

Earlier, Jost admitted that he practically did not care how the wedding would be organized. “I would not say that I understand the organization of weddings and have some preferences. I happily shifted these concerns to someone who knows the subject and has good taste. As a child, I never fantasized about my wedding. I imagined a dream partner rather than a dream wedding, ” Colin said and added that it was much more important to him that Scarlett became his legal wife and not that they celebrated the wedding.
