“We must ensure that (Donald) Trump was a one-term President, and we need you in the White house. I’ll do everything I can to make it happen, Joe. It is important that we all work together,” he said during a joint video speech with Biden on Twitter.
Biden thanked him for his support.
“I will need you not only to win but also to manage,” he added.
Earlier, Sanders announced the suspension of the campaign but promised that his name would remain on the ballot in the primary elections in the remaining States and that he would continue to attract General party Convention candidates to his side. All the other participants in the Democratic party primaries previously withdrew from the fight and supported Biden, who now has no obstacles to being approved as a single candidate and will run against the current US President Donald Trump.
