San Francisco Residents spooked by Golden Gate Bridge

Residents of San Francisco in the United States publish a video of the strange “behavior” of the famous Golden Gate Bridge.

In the footage, which appeared on Twitter, you can hear that the Golden Gate makes eerie sounds: it seems as if the structure is humming or even singing. The noise can be heard for miles. We think it’s like a hanging sound (or signals from outer space).

This is not the first time San Francisco residents have heard such sounds. They appeared last year because of the reconstruction of the railing for treadmills — this way, the structure reacts to (and resists) strong wind. Then a representative of the Golden Gate Bridge, Highway, and Transportation District said that strange sounds are an inevitable part of the project to modernize wind turbines.
