Samsung releases One UI 3.1.1 update for Galaxy Z Fold 2, Galaxy Z Flip 5G and Galaxy Z Flip

Samsung at the beginning of August announced the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 3 smartphones with the new One UI 3.1.1 shell, and has now begun updating old folding devices to it.

The firmware has been released for the Galaxy Z Fold 2, Galaxy Z Flip 5G and Galaxy Z Flip models. As for the original Galaxy Fold, it is planned to be updated a little later.

The new software version has received an up-to-date security patch. In addition, Drag & Split, Multi-Active Window and Natural Window Switching, Auto Rotate All Apps, Customized App Aspect Ratios, Cover Screen Mirroring and much more have been added to the system. Even in the firmware, the developers worked on the stability of the software, animation and the speed of opening applications.

As usual, OTAs are spreading in waves and across regions. So you have to wait a little while the firmware gets to your device.
