Samsung may drop Galaxy Note line and add stylus support to Galaxy S

Traditionally, Samsung releases two lines of flagship smartphones annually: Galaxy Note and Galaxy S. However, this pattern may change next year.

According to sources from South Korea, in 2021 Samsung may abandon the Galaxy Note line. There is logic in this: before the rulers differed in size, now they are almost the same. They are distinguished only by the presence of a stylus on the Galaxy Note.

By the way, about the stylus. According to the same sources, after abandoning the Galaxy Note line, support for the S-Pen will go to Galaxy S. According to rumors, three models await us, and if you follow the naming principles, these will be the Galaxy S21, Galaxy S21 +, and Galaxy S21 Ultra. But only the older Galaxy S21 Ultra will come with a stylus.

Thus, the Galaxy Note 20 family could be the last in the series. It looks like they will be replaced by foldable smartphones, which, by the way, can also be equipped with proprietary styluses.

By the way, according to Ice Universe, the Samsung Galaxy Note 20 is selling about 10 times worse than the more expensive Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra.
