On August 11, Samsung will hold a big summer presentation of Galaxy Unpacked, but in the meantime, the company continues to actively prepare for the event. Samsung has launched a survey that hints at new possibilities for future devices.
So, Samsung asks the survey participants what they expect from the new Galaxy smartphone, offering several answers. This is a new level of flexible display, innovative camera, new design and new capabilities of the S Pen stylus.
It’s easy to guess that these are clues to the new foldable smartphones Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 3, which will debut on August 11. According to numerous leaks, Samsung is using a new flexible display coating to improve its durability, has tweaked the design and cameras, and has added stylus support to the Galaxy Z Fold 3.
Recall that the Galaxy Z Fold 3 is credited with two Super AMOLED screens with a diagonal of 6.23 and 7.55 inches and a refresh rate of 120 Hz, Qualcomm Snapdragon 888/888 + or Exynos 2200 processors, up to 12 GB of RAM, a triple main camera and two front ones. The “clamshell” Galaxy Z Flip 3, in turn, should receive a Snapdragon 888 processor, a 3300 mAh battery with 25 W wired charging and 15 W wireless charging, as well as 6.9 and 1.9 inches AMOLED screens. We also wrote today that both models should receive IPX8 water protection.
In addition, the Galaxy Watch 4 smartwatch, Galaxy Buds 2 wireless headphones and the Galaxy S21 FE smartphone will debut on August 11.
