Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 will receive a BIA sensor

The other day, high-quality images of the Galaxy Watch Active 4 have leaked to the network, and now an insider has revealed one of the main features of the regular version of the watch.

According to credible informant Max Weinbach, the Galaxy Watch 4 will receive a BIA (Bioelectrical Impedance Analysis) sensor. It will measure the percentage of body fat in relation to lean mass. That is, thanks to him, users will be able to better monitor their body condition. By the way, earlier there was a rumor that the Galaxy Watch 4 will still be equipped with a glucometer, but so far no one has confirmed this information.

Recall that the Galaxy Watch 4 will be available in 42 mm and 46 mm sizes and will receive a proprietary 5-nanometer processor and an updated Wear OS operating system with OneUI shell instead of Samsung’s old Tizen OS. Details about the new product should be told at the MWC 2021 exhibition on June 28, and the presentation of the watch, according to rumors, is scheduled for August 3.
