Samsung Galaxy S21+ appears on Geekbench

Recently, journalists from the Android Police published detailed specifications for the Galaxy S21 smartphones. Now one of the models has been spotted in the Geekbench database.

We are talking about the Galaxy S21 +. The device has been tested with model number SM-G996U. The leak confirms previous information about the new product. The smartphone, as expected, will be equipped with an eight-core Lahaina processor. It is the codename for Qualcomm’s flagship Snapdragon 875 chip, which will debut early next month at the Qualcomm Tech Summit 2020. The SoC will be paired with 8GB of RAM. Also, the smartphone will be equipped with the latest version of Android OS 11.

Recall that the Galaxy S21+ is also credited with a 6.7-inch display at 120 Hz. Unlike the Ultra version, the device will have FHD+ resolution. It should also be equipped with a triple main camera of 64 MP + 12 MP + 12 MP, a 4800 mAh battery, 5G modem, Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.1. The device will hit the market in three colors: Phantom Silver, Phantom Black and Phantom Violet.

How much the Galaxy S21 + will cost is still unknown. The smartphone should be presented in early January along with other models of the line.
