GSMArena writes that in the near future, last year’s flagships Samsung Galaxy S20, S20+ and S20 Ultra may receive one of the camera functions of the Galaxy S21.
This refers to the Director View mode, which shows live images from all cameras of the smartphone in the viewfinder, allowing users to easily switch between the camera they want to use when recording video. Until now, this feature remains exclusive to the Samsung Galaxy S21 lineup.
The appearance of Director View is hinted at by the T-Mobile USA operator’s software support page. Here for Galaxy S20 5G instructions for using Director View have been added.
Of course, this could be a bug, especially since the wrong version of Android is listed. But Samsung has already made some of the Galaxy S21 camera features available for older models – for example, the Galaxy S20 and Galaxy S20 FE flagships.
