Samsung Galaxy J5 and Galaxy J7 2017 get new firmware

Samsung has released a new version of the system for budget smartphones four years ago.

We are talking about the Galaxy J5 and Galaxy J7 models, which were announced to the market in 2017. The firmware for smartphones came out with build numbers J530LKLU7CUD2 and J730FXWS8CUD1 respectively.

Samsung Galaxy J5 (2017) received the April Google security patch that fixes 23 system vulnerabilities. The Galaxy J7 (2017), in turn, received the May security patch. In both devices, Samsung has fixed up to 30 minor bugs. The company does not disclose which ones.

The update for the Galaxy J5 (2017) has so far only been released in South Korea, and for the Galaxy J7 (2017) – in Bangladesh, Nepal and Sri Lanka. In other regions, the system should appear a little later.
