In August, Samsung was supposed to unveil the Galaxy S21 FE smartphone – a simpler and, accordingly, affordable version of the Galaxy S21 flagships. However, now it seems that the novelty is not worth waiting for.
The South Korean publication Electronic Times reports that Samsung has suddenly stopped production of gadgets. According to sources, this is due to a shortage of Qualcomm processors, and this problem may not be resolved soon.
As far as I know, the sudden shutdown of S21 FE is not due to the chip, but to the fact that some other part cannot be supplied normally, most likely the battery. pic.twitter.com/5BzoBNjLLj

At the same time, the Ice Universe insider has different information. According to him, the release of the smartphone was canceled not because of a lack of microcircuits, but because of problems with the battery.
“As far as I know, the sudden cancellation of the S21 FE is not connected with the microcircuits, but with the fact that some other part cannot be powered normally, most likely the battery. It is not that the battery is in short supply, but that the parts needed for the new FE technology are not up to standard, and this part may be related to the battery. This does not affect other models, ”wrote an insider.
It’s a shame, anyway, because the Galaxy S20 FE was very popular.
