Russian coronavirus vaccine is ready

The first Russian coronavirus vaccine is ready. Russian Deputy Defense Minister Ruslan Tsalikov will inform about this.

At the time of discharge, without exception, all volunteers, having received immunity from the coronavirus, felt fine. Thus, the first domestic vaccine against the new coronavirus infection is ready.

Sechenov University, which also tested the vaccine at the Gamaleya Center, reported that all volunteers had immunity. It manifests itself after a few days. However, it is not yet known how long the vaccine will last.

On the eve, the head of the 48th Central Research Institute of Radiation, Chemical and Biological Defense Troops, Doctor of Biological Sciences Sergei Borisevich said that “scientists still have a huge layer of analytical work, drawing up final reports, presenting results, state registration of a vaccine preparation.”

Mass production of the vaccine is scheduled to begin in August.
