Russia conducts military exercises in Crimea with the participation of aviation

Russia has launched military exercises in Crimea with the participation of the Russian Black Sea Fleet aviation and anti-aircraft missile regiment.

The Russian exercises are held in accordance with the combat training plan, the press service of the Black Sea Fleet stressed. The purpose of the maneuvers was to work out the coherence of the calculations and batteries of the regiment in the organization of the defense of important infrastructure facilities from the means of air attack of the imaginary enemy.

The exercises involve Su-24M, Su-24MR, Su-30SM, AN-26, Be-12, and helicopters.

Earlier, the United States sent the missile destroyer Labun to the Black Sea to “ensure security at sea.”
