Rumor: Huawei postponed the presentation of the P50 flagships to June

Last year, the flagship Huawei P40 family debuted at the end of March, but here the P50 line is already well behind schedule. The exact date of the announcement is still unknown, but Chinese insiders have revealed new details, which, however, have not been officially confirmed.

There were rumors on the network that the Huawei P50 flagships would be shown at the end of March, then information appeared that the presentation had been postponed to mid-April. But these deadlines have passed – and there are still no new smartphones.

According to new data, it is not worth waiting for the flagships in the near future, since their premiere was postponed to June. Apparently, this is due to the US sanctions and the lack of processors.

But, according to insider information, another event will take place in May, at which Huawei should present the FreeBuds 4 wireless headphones, a new computer device, and children’s smartwatches.

In addition, the MatePad Pro 2 tablet will be announced in the coming months. According to one information, it will be launched alongside the P50 and will only go on sale in September. On the other hand, the tablet will be presented on April 20, although so far there have been no teasers or invitations. Let’s remind, on the same day Apple has planned its presentation.

By the way, according to rumors, the new flagship family will have three models. Huawei P50 will replace the Lite version, so it will come with a simplified platform – Kirin 9000E. The base model of the series will be the Huawei P50 Pro, and the top model will be the Huawei P50 Pro +. The devices are credited with the Kirin 9000 chips.
