Robert Mueller returns to private law practice

The former special Prosecutor will continue to work in the law firm where he worked before the “Russian investigation.”

Former Special Prosecutor Robert Mueller returns to the law firm where he worked before the investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election.

On Tuesday, the law firm WilmerHale announced Mueller’s return, noting that he would work on crisis management and high profile investigations.
Two former members of Muller team – Aaron Sibley and James Quarless, will also return to at WilmerHale.

Last spring, Mueller completed an investigation into whether trump’s campaign headquarters coordinated with Russia to influence the outcome of the election. In July, he testified to two committees of the House of Representatives.
