Resorts in Bulgaria began to cancel the quarantine

The first cancels the quarantine in Bulgaria ski resort Bansko, which closed earlier than all.

Today, according to the National tourism office of the Republic of Bulgaria, the 14-day quarantine will be lifted, as well as the ban on entering and leaving the city. The restrictions came into effect on March 18, it was the first resort closed in the country due to the COVID-19 coronavirus. People could only go to shops, and foreign tourists were evacuated.

At the exits of the city, police posts checked the temperature of those leaving, and after disinfection, only emergency exits were allowed. Mostly cars that delivered food and medicine entered the city.

Although the quarantine was lifted in Bansko, anti-epidemic measures remain in force throughout the country. But in Bulgaria, they hope to soon pass the peak of morbidity and return all the country’s resorts to normal life by the summer season of 2020.
