Reservoir Dogs producer Monte Hellman dies

He was 91 years old.

American director, screenwriter, editor, and producer Monte Hellman passed away at the age of 92. This was reported on Tuesday by The Hollywood Reporter magazine with reference to the daughter of the deceased – actress and producer Melissa Hellman.

Hellman directed the westerns The Shooting (1966) and Ride in the Whirlwind (1966), the war drama Back Door to Hell (1964), and the adventure film Flight to Fury (1964), all of which starred actor Jack Nicholson.

Hellman’s most famous production work is Quentin Tarantino’s debut film Reservoir Dogs (1992).
