Released MIUI 12.5 stable version for Xiaomi Mi Max 3 and Redmi 7

The other day we said that Xiaomi began updating the Mi 9T Pro and Mi 9 Pro 5G smartphones to MIUI 12.5, and now the firmware has been released for two more devices.

We are talking about Xiaomi Mi Max 3 and the budget employee Redmi 7. The system for the devices came out with assembly numbers V12.5.1.0.QEDCNXM and V12.5.1.0.QFLCNXM, respectively. The firmware is currently only available to device users in China. Global smartphone owners will receive the OTA at a later date.

Recall that Xiaomi Mi Max 3 came out in 2018 with MIUI 9 on board and Android 8.0 Oreo. After the release, the smartphone was updated to MIUI 10, MIUI 11 and MIUI 12. In addition, it received Android 9.0 Pie and Android 10. As for the Redmi 7, the device was presented in 2019 with MIUI 10 based on Android 9.0 Pie. Later, the device was updated to MIUI 11 and MIUI 12 with Android 10.

As for MIUI 13, both smartphones are unlikely to receive it.
