Redmi may unveil its first gaming smartphone this month

A few months ago, it became known that Xiaomi is preparing the first gaming smartphone under the Redmi brand. And the closer the official announcement is, the more details about the new product appear.

According to a Chinese insider, the smartphone should be presented in the middle or by the end of this month. That is, it will not be long to wait. In general, Wang Teng Thomas, the director of products of Redmi, also spoke about this.

It is known that the smartphone passes under the number M2104K10C and is codenamed Ares (in Greek mythology, the god of war). It will be based on the Dimensity 1200 processor, which debuted together with its competitor – Realme Neo GT.

It is expected that the gaming gadget will receive a camera with four modules and a 64-megapixel Sony IMX686 main lens, an OLED display with a small hole for the front camera, like the Mi 11 and Redmi K40, a 5000 mAh battery with 65-watt charging, and a price tag in the region USD 300-380. Perhaps outside of China, it will be released under the POCO brand.
