Redmi 10 will be the first smartphone on the market with MediaTek Helio G88 chip

Xiaomi continues to tease the features of the new budget smartphone Redmi 10.

The Chinese manufacturer has published a poster on its Twitter page, according to which the device will be equipped with a new MediaTek Helio G88 processor. It is the successor to the Helio G85. By the way, this will be the first smartphone on the market with such a SoC on board. Recall that Helio G88 was announced in July. The chip has two high-performance Cortex-A75 cores with a clock frequency of 2.0 GHz, 6 energy-efficient Cortex-A55 cores and a Mali-G52 MC2 graphics accelerator.

As for other specifications, the smartphone will receive a 6.5-inch IPS display with a refresh rate of 90 Hz, a quad camera with a 50 MP main sensor, a side fingerprint scanner, stereo speakers, a headphone jack and a 5000 mAh battery.

According to the leaks, the presentation of the Redmi 10 will take place on August 18th. The novelty will cost from $ 185.
