Rating of the most expensive brands in the world: Apple is again the leader, Samsung – for the first time in the top five

Consulting agency Interbrand has published its traditional rating of the most expensive brands in the world – Best Global Brands 2020. And since last year, there have been changes in it.

Only the leader, Apple, does not change. The Apple brand was valued at $ 323 billion, which is 38% more than last year. By the way, Apple tops the list for the seventh year in a row.

Amazon moved up to second place, pushing Google. The Amazon brand was valued at $ 201 billion, which is 60% more than in 2019. Microsoft is in third place – $ 166 billion (+ 53%).

But Google, which for a long time breathed in the back of Apple, dropped to fourth place with $ 165 billion (-1%).

In addition, for the first time, Samsung is in the top five. The brand is now worth $ 62 billion. This is only 2% more compared to the previous year, but provided the company with growth from sixth to fifth place. By the way, Samsung first entered the Interbrand rating 20 years ago and was then only ranked 43rd.

There are also other tech companies in the ranking: Disney (10), Intel (12), Facebook (13), IBM (14), Instagram (19), Huawei (80) and Zoom (100).
