Queen Elizabeth II approved a name for Prince Harry’s daughter

Last Friday, June 4, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle bragged about the birth of their daughter. The second child of the Dukes of Sussex was named Lilibet Diana Mountbatten-Windsor.

Many people did not like the fact that Prince Harry, who is famous for his attacks on the royal family, chose the name Lilibet for his daughter. This is what Queen Elizabeth II was called in childhood. The public believed that after throwing mud at the family, Harry had no right to name his daughter after his grandmother.

But the BBC reports that the Queen has personally approved Lilibet’s name for her great-granddaughter.

“The Duke spoke to his family before announcing the name. In fact, his grandmother was the first member of the family he called. During this conversation, Harry shared his hope to name his daughter Lilibet after her. If she didn’t support, they would have chosen a different name, ”says a source in the palace.
