Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 Pro processor will be an exclusive Honor

Information has appeared on the network more than once that Honor is working on a new flagship smartphone Magic, which will be the first to receive a Snapdragon 888 Pro chip (aka Snapdragon 888+). As it turned out, a smartphone maybe not only the first but also the only device based on it.

According to several insiders, Honor has entered into an exclusive deal with Qualcomm for the supply of the new chip. That is, at first the SoC will be available only to the Chinese manufacturer. Unfortunately, there are no other details about the new Honor Magic smartphone yet. We only know that it should be released to the market in the third quarter.

As for the Snapdragon 888 Pro chip, it will most likely become an overclocked version of the regular model. Similar to Snapdragon 855/855 + and Snapdragon 865/865 +. The processor is also credited with the new ultra-powerful Cortex-X1 core.

We will remind, the company Honor recently introduced smartphones Honor 50, Honor 50 Pro, and Honor 50 SE. New items will be released on the global market and will be sold with Google services.
