Putin shared his impressions of the conversation with Biden

The image of US President Joe Biden, which is sometimes broadcast in the media, has nothing to do with reality, Russian President Vladimir Putin said.

On Thursday, the Head of state held a video conference with graduates of the IV stream of the program for the development of the personnel management reserve of the Higher School of Public Administration. One of the participants of the meeting asked Putin whether Biden has obvious health problems, including dementia, which is attributed to the American leader by some media.

“The image of President Biden, which is drawn by our and even the American press, has nothing to do with reality. He’s on a long business trip, flew in from overseas, so-called jetlag, jet lag … no, he looks cheerful, we talked face-to-face for two, maybe a little more, hours. He is completely “in the material,” Putin said.

He called the head of the White House a professional, with whom you should work carefully, “so as not to miss anything,” since he “does not miss anything himself.”

“I think we were able to understand each other, to understand our positions on key issues. They differ in many ways, but at the same time, they have identified the directions or points at which we can talk about a possible future convergence of positions. There are things that are of absolute priority and interest to both us and the United States,” Putin said.
