Putin noted the US contribution to the global economic recovery

Russian President Vladimir Putin called the great contribution of the United States to recover the world economy.

“Our countries have formed a package of incentives for the global economy totaling $ 12 trillion. Now the US President was talking about the efforts of the United States. Indeed, this is a huge contribution to the recovery of the US economy, and therefore to the recovery of the world economy,” the Russian President said, speaking at the G20 summit.

He noted that Russia highly appreciates the efforts of Saudi Arabia as Chairman of the G20. In the current situation, the current agenda was refocused on restoring the world economy and protecting people’s health and well-being.

“Building on the experience of dealing with the global financial crisis of 2008-2009, the G20 launched some multilateral initiatives to mitigate the economic risks associated with the pandemic and to restore business activity, including through key institutions of global governance. And this is the United Nations, the World Health Organization, the IMF, the World Bank, and others,” Putin said.
