Putin called the conversation with Biden constructive

Russian President Vladimir Putin said that at the US -Russia summit, both sides showed a desire to seek a rapprochement of positions, and the conversation was constructive.

“I believe that there was no hostility, on the contrary, our meeting took place, of course, in a principled way: our assessments differ on many positions, but, in my opinion, the desire to understand each other and look for ways to bring their positions closer was demonstrated on both sides. The conversation was very constructive,” Putin said at a press conference following the summit in Geneva.

“We also agreed that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation and the US State Department will begin consultations on the entire range of cooperation on the diplomatic track. There is something to talk about; there is a lot of rubble accumulated. It seemed to me that both sides, including the American side, are determined to look for solutions,” Putin said at a press conference following the summit in Geneva.
