Putin and Trump agreed that current oil prices do not meet the interests of both countries

President Vladimir Putin and US President Donald Trump agreed that current oil prices do not meet the interests of the two countries, said Dmitry Peskov, a spokesman for the Russian President.

“There is an understanding that the current price situation is not in the interests of our countries,” he told reporters when asked how similar Moscow and Washington views are on the situation in the oil market.
At the same time, Peskov refrained from answering the question of what steps the Russian Federation and the United States can take in this direction.

He also did not specify when Russian-American consultations on the situation in the oil market, which Putin and Trump agreed on Monday, might begin.
