Pulitzer Prize awarded for reporting on Tramp’s financial fraud

The Pulitzer Prize winner in the most prestigious public service category was the journalists of South Florida Sun Sentinel. They received an award for “exposing school and law enforcement mistakes” before and after the shooting at a school in Parkland, Fla.

In national report category were noted journalists of The Wall Street Journal, who wrote that the President of the United States Donald Trump paid two women for silence about the relationship with him.

The winners in the international reporting category were Reuters journalists imprisoned in Myanmar, who wrote about the persecution of the Rohingya people in the country, and The Associated Press reporters, who told about the killings of drug traffickers without trial, practiced by the authorities of the Philippines.

The Pulitzer Prize, awarded since 1917, is one of the most prestigious awards of the USA in the field of journalism, literature, music and theater.
The amount of the award is 15000$. The winner in the public service category receives a gold medal instead of money.
